Data Processing by BOCK Secure File Transfer

This service processes the following data:

• Transfer data: Uploaded files are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and automatically deleted after the configured retention period (default: 10 days).
• Metadata: Sender and recipient email addresses, filenames, file sizes, timestamps and IP addresses are stored for logging purposes for 2 years.
• Verification data: Email addresses and verification codes are stored briefly for authentication.

Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure data exchange) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

Hosting

All data is hosted in Germany (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg). A data processing agreement with the hosting provider is in place.
